| An important milestone in the creation of the PET center completed |

On October 13, 2011 was successfully completed an important milestone in the creation of the new PET center (Pozitron emission tomography) of the Nuclear Research Institute in Řež. It dealt with the installation of cyclotron and the related technologies of the Belgian company IBA. This event was preceded by several months of preparation and coordination of all related activities, in particular obtainment of the necessary permits, construction works, logistics and many others.
